BEI has designed bridges and abutments for pedestrian and vehicular loads.  When more cost-effective for our clients, we have designed abutments and helped clients specify pre-engineered bridges to be placed on the abutments.  BEI has obtained historical bridges for clients and moved them to new abutments we designed, and we have rehabilitated existing bridges to allow continued service.
